Mass movement explained in an easy to understand way:
Imagine trying to carry too many groceries at once, where the bags start slipping out of your hands and fall to the ground. This scenario is similar to mass movement, where gravitational forces cause rocks or soil to move downhill. Just as the weight and instability of the overloaded groceries cause them to slip from your grip, the force of gravity and the instability of soil or rocks on a slope result in their downward movement.
