Joule
Joule explained in an easy to understand way:
Imagine trying to push a heavy shopping cart up a hill at the grocery store. This effort is similar to how energy works because you're applying force over a distance, which is exactly what a joule measures. Just as you use your muscles to push the cart (force) over the length of the hill (distance), a joule measures the energy used when one newton of force moves an object one meter, hence the term Newton-meter.
