Imagine you're trying to hold onto a large stack of boxes while climbing a staircase, but eventually, you lose your balance, and the boxes come crashing down in a spectacular mess. This chaotic scene is similar to a supernova, where a massive supergiant star can no longer support the immense pressure of its own gravity and collapses.
