Imagine you’re trying to charge your phone but can only do so when there’s sunlight. Just as you rely on sunlight to power your phone through a solar charger, plants depend on thylakoids to capture sunlight to produce energy. In this analogy, the thylakoid is like the solar panel of the plant's chloroplasts, absorbing light efficiently to convert it into usable energy, similar to how your solar charger collects sunlight to charge your phone.
