Imagine waking up to find that your phone battery is almost dead because an app has been running in the background all night, draining power without your knowledge. This situation is similar to parasitism, where one organism benefits at the expense of another. Just as the app consumes your phone's energy, leaving it depleted, a parasite thrives by drawing resources from its host, harming it in the process.
