Relative Humidity

Imagine trying to pack a suitcase for a long trip, but you only have a limited amount of space available. This is similar to how the air can only hold a certain amount of water vapor at a given temperature. Just like how you have to decide what clothes you can fit into the suitcase without overstuffing it, relative humidity measures how much water vapor is in the air compared to the maximum it can hold at that temperature, indicating how "full" the air is with moisture.
Practice Version

Relative Humidity: A measure of the amount of water vapor in the air, compared to the maximum possible at that temperature. Relative humidity. It tells us how full the air is with water vapor compared to how much it could hold at that temperature.
