Imagine you're in a crowded room, feeling the heat rise as more people enter, making it increasingly uncomfortable. Just like how you might leave the room to find cooler air, molecules in a liquid absorb heat until they have enough energy to escape into the air as gas. The crowded room is like the liquid state, where molecules are tightly packed, and the act of leaving is analogous to vaporization, where the molecules transition to a less crowded, gaseous state.
